What
A Year!
2007 proved to be a busy
year. Again, we thank
each and every one of you for your support of Dirigo
Highway. The band is now gearing up for what looks to be
a busy year with performances scheduled on the Country Fest 2008 at Stonehedge in Gray.
DH will be performing with some of Maine and New
England's stellar talent all headlined by an up and
coming country music artist. Performances are also scheduled
for Crystal Falls in Chelsea, Johnson Hall and Lake
Pemaquid Campground. In September 2007, our bass player,
Paul left Dirigo Highway. We wish him all the best and
thank him for his many contributions to the band. Paul
will always be a "brother of the road." Replacing him is
our friend and bass diva, Brenda Wetchzell. Brenda
is from the Auburn area and is an outstanding
instrumentalist and vocalist. She's a phenomenal
balladeer and a hard driving rocker! The
band is looking forward to hitting the road with Brenda
and making some great music this year!
Dirigo
Highway would again like to thank Bobby Reed from the
Wild Horse band for his recent appearances on stage with
the band. Bobby is a true talent and it is always a
pleasure when he steps on stage for a few songs or an
entire evening. A big thank you goes out to the folks
behind the scenes that handle our promotion, sell our
merchandise and make sure that Dirigo Highway driving
along.
But,
remember, none of this would be possible without you!
Thank you all for coming out and supporting the band! We
love all of you and look forward to see you soon!
